A list of prestigious awards given to Freedom Park

New Africa Books and Mamepe Promotions present an evening with Dr Mongane Wally Serote, James Ngculu and other veterans of the struggle on 04 June 2010.

The vision for the partnership between the Freedom Park, AROSA, SACAR, iIKSSA, Rivone, ANC Youth League and other youth formations is to establish a formidable African Renaissance Youth Movement that embraces and celebrates our African Roots. The mission of the project is for the youth to create the character of their moral content towards the realisation of youth African Renaissance.

On the eve of the 15th commemoration of diplomatic relations between Cuba and South Africa, The Freedom Park wishes to honour the selfless contribution and the immense sacrifices of a nation that chose to come to our aid in our time of need.

South Africa and Cuba have maintained longstanding relations, dating back to the struggle against Apartheid and colonialism in the sub-region.
