Tomorrow, 26 February 2010, at 10:00, survivors of the Mamelodi Massacre as well as family and loved ones of those who perished convene at Freedom Park for a ceremony to officially submit the names of the 13 victims. These names will be verified and inscribed on the Wall of Names in time for the anniversary of the Mamelodi Massacre on 21 November 2010.

On Saturday, 24 October 2009, at 10:00, Dr Aleida Guevara, daughter of the late freedom fighter, Ernesto Guevara de la Serna, popularly known as Che Guevara, visits Freedom Park. Che Guevara is one of the 30 leaders being honoured in the Gallery of Leaders at the Park.
