Call for Vendors: Join Us at the Ungasali Storytelling Festival 2025!
The Ungasali Storytelling Festival is a vibrant celebration of African oral storytelling, a space where the youth come together to honour and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of storytelling, music, and
performance. This year’s theme, “Youth Echoes: Shaping Global Futures Through Stories”, promises
to offer an unforgettable experience that connects young people through the timeless power of
stories.
We are calling on producers who celebrate African culture and heritage to apply for exhibition and/
or trading spaces at this year’s festival. If you specialise in any of the following areas, we would love
to hear from you:
- Educational Games
- Face Painting
- Children & Youth Literature
- Crafts & Arts
- Game Designers
- Puppets
- Mascots
Festival Details:
- Date: 15th March 2025
- Time: 09:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Venue: Freedom Park Heritage Site, Cnr Koch & 7th Avenue, Salvokop, Pretoria
Vendor Application Details:
We are excited to offer ZERO COST stand fees for vendors interested in showcasing their products
and services. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with a vibrant community celebrating cultural
heritage.
- Stand Size: 2m x 2m (Empty Space)
- Own Equipment: Vendors must provide their own setup (e.g., gazebo, table, display setup,
pop-up stall) and extension cord(s). - No. of Personnel: A maximum of 4 people per vendor stall.
- Compliance: Vendors must adhere to health, safety, and business regulations related to their
products/services. - Engagement: We encourage vendors to create interactive stalls that engage visitors and bring
the storytelling theme to life
How to Apply:
To apply for an exhibition/trading space, please complete the Vendor Application Form. The deadline
for applications is 12 February 2025, so make sure to submit your form before this date.
