In memory of Onkgopose Abram Tiro, a political activist, a teacher, a member of the South African Students Organization and Black Consciousness Movement, who was killed by a parcel bomb on 01 February 1974, whilst in exile in Botswana. Freedom Park will honour Tiro’s legacy through a Public Lecture on Thursday, 01 February 2024.

The Sanctuary is a imtimate space offered at Freedom Park that can host conferences, Gala, Dialogues and so much more. It can sit 200 – 250 class room style
