Freedom Park Partners with Nzalo Careers for Mandela Day Mentorship Programme
Freedom Park is proud to partner with Nzalo Careers to host the annual Mandela Day Mentorship
Programme on 18 July 2026.
Inspired by the spirit of 67 Minutes of Meaningful Action, the programme will bring together
mentors and mentees for a day dedicated to learning, connection and personal growth. By creating
opportunities for meaningful engagement, the initiative seeks to empower young people with
knowledge, guidance and encouragement as they navigate their educational and career journeys.
The programme reflects the shared commitment of Freedom Park and Nzalo Careers to investing in
the next generation of leaders through mentorship and knowledge sharing. It also honours Nelson
Mandela’s enduring legacy by encouraging individuals to make a meaningful contribution to the lives
of others.
Participants can look forward to a dynamic programme that includes:
• A 67 Minutes Commemoration
• A panel discussion on youth challenges
• Entertainment and fun activities
• A guided tour of Freedom Park
• Networking and meaningful mentorship opportunities
The programme will take place on Saturday, 18 July 2026, from 08:30 at Freedom Park Heritage
Site.
