We are delighted that Freedom Park was one of the heritage institutions specifically chosen by Minister Patel Minister of Trade and Industry to be the epicentre of the exhibition at the AGOA Trade Exhibition.

This is of immense importance to us as we showcase Freedom Park to the Americans and the world.

Besides the significance of Freedom Park, we also want to showcase our award-winning structures that enthrall national, continental and international visitors with their splendour, originality, matchless design and a wealth of information on African history, culture, heritage and spirituality. Spearheading this exhibition is Sipho Mdanda and Ricky Mafadza.

Since the year 2000, the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) has given eligible African countries duty and quota free access to the United States markets. This has created an opportunity for African businesses, big or small to meet, trade with new markets and improve the quality of their products.
