2.    Eligibility

The Competition is open to natural persons who:

• Are citizens or permanent residents of South Africa
• Are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry
• Reside in South Africa and possess a valid South African Identity Document or Passport

Legal entities are not eligible to participate.

Excluded from entry: employees, directors, members, partners, consultants, or agents of the Promoter, and their immediate family members.

To qualify, participants must follow at least one of Freedom Park’s official social media accounts: Facebook (@FreedomParkSA), Instagram (@FreedomParkSA), or X (@FreedomParkSA).

3.    Agreement to Terms

By entering this Competition, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or cancel the Competition at any time.

4.    How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

• Follow @FreedomParkSA on the platform they are entering from
• Post or comment about what heritage or freedom means to you
• Include the hashtag #DiscoverFreedomPark
• Tag @FreedomParkSA and 3 friends
• Set the post to public visibility

5.    Competition Period

The Competition runs from 15 July 2025 to 21 July 2025 at 23h59 (SAST). Late entries will not be considered.

6.    Prizes

Participants stand a chance to win one of the following:

• 5 x Double Tickets to 702 Walk The Talk (R720 value each) and 5 x Double Tickets to Freedom Park Heritage Site (R160 value each).
• Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
• The winner(s) will be contacted via Direct message, comment or email.
• If a winner cannot be contacted within [48] hours, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternative winner may be selected.

7.    Publicity

By accepting the prize, winners consent to the use of their name, image, and entry for promotional purposes.

8.    Disqualification

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify incomplete or ineligible entries.

9.    Personal Information and POPIA Compliance

By entering, participants consent to the collection and processing of their personal information for the purposes of administering this competition and for future promotional purposes.

All data will be stored securely in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and used only for competition administration unless the participant consents to further marketing.

Participants may opt-in to receive marketing communications from Freedom Park and may unsubscribe at any time.

The Promoter may collect the following personal information: name, contact details, age, ID/passport number.

Participants have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data or object to its processing.

Personal data will be retained only as long as necessary and then securely destroyed.

10. Consent for Marketing

Participants may opt-in to receive marketing communication. Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time. Entry into the competition is not conditional upon consenting to marketing.

The Promoter is not responsible for technical issues, loss or delay of entries, or any injury or damage resulting from participation in the Competition.

Your data will only be used for the purposes specified in these Terms and Conditions, and for marketing if you have opted in.
